August Favorites and MOTD

August is already over, which means this is Bee Beauty’s one month anniversary! Yay! My number 1 favorite thing this month? You guys! Thank you all for making my first month a huge success.Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Now on to the stuffies! 

First up, these eyeliners from Tarte. I got them in a gift set I ordered during the friends and family sale. What love about them is how smooth and opaque they are. The colors are really unique too. The pictures don’t do them justice. I’ve used them in just about every look I’ve created this month.

Next up is the ELF Baked Highlighter in Pink Diamonds. It’s just a beautiful pinky blue based highlight. Perfect for fair skin.

Anastasia Dip Brow in Taupe, need I say more? Brows on FLEEK!

I’ve reached for this eye primer for all my daily use. It’s cheap as hell and works great.

Being that we just finished up August, a setting spray was a must and this one did the job. It also smells lovely.

Another E.L.F product? Yep! These liquid liner pens have been super handy this month. They last very well throughout the day but they are not by any means waterproof like it claims but like I said, they wear really well all day. Great for when I’m in a hurry. The felt tip is really easy to use.

Tarte Lights Camera Lashes has to be one of my all time favorite mascaras. I just got a new tube and been using it like crazy.

For my nails, I’ve been loving making a combination of these shades in various patterns. I’ve just started doing my own acrylic nails at home so I’ve been having a lot of fun with polishes. I don’t know what got into me the other day but I really didn’t want to go to the nail salon. I was tired and grumpy, just didn’t wanna. So, I ran into CVS and picked up an at home kit by Kiss. So far so good.

Non- Beauty Faves!  As I’ve mentioned before, our in-laws have been visiting and staying over a lot to help us get our new flooring installed. They introduced me to some pretty great snacks while they were here.
These! So good.  I had no idea that I enjoy salty sweet flavors but now I’m addicted!
And these little guys. I found them at Books A Million. Back in the day, there was a candy sold at Cracker Barrel just like this and I haven’t been able to find it in forever until I ran BAM for some coffee and there they were. The ones at Cracker Barrel weren’t Jelly Belly but they taste just the same.

This is some hardcore “adulting” right here. The Mr got me a Swifter Wet Jet made for hardwood, my excitement level was too damn high. I love it because it took me under 10 minutes to clean all the floors in my house. Insane. I usually have a hell of a time cleaning floors. Scoliosis is mean like that, but this little guy is so much easier on my back and cleans like a dream.

Pumpkin is a monthly favorite this month because August marks one year of her living with us!

New Glass! I can see again! The world is in HD!

Sadly, I’ve finished two of my favorites things in the world in August.

A show I’ve loved since I was a toddler and have wanted to run a bar ever since. I wanted to be Rebecca Howl so bad.

*Sniffles* I want to read these all over again. I can’t express how much I love the Harry Potter universe. I need more!
