Finally, Last day of the 25 Days of Makeup! I combined 24 and 25 into one post showing how I created my Christmas Eve cut crease makeup. I’m a bit late posting, been pretty busy with the holiday get togethers and friend time… and repeat viewings of Star Wars.
Anyway, here’s how I got my Christmas Eve look. It’s pretty dramatic but I love it for an evening event.

I got to use this little beauty for this look! I’m in love with the Too Faced Le Grand Chateau!
In this look, I used the mint green palette which has some gorgeous golden warm tones.
As usual, I started with my brows done and a primed eye.

Next, I laid down a base of “Pot Du Creme” (matte cream) concentrating the most pigment under the brow bone and inner corner to highlight.
As a transition shade, I used “Fifi” ( matte warm brown) keeping it darkest at the outer corner.
Next, I mapped out the cut crease with “La Femme” (dark matte brown) and built up the intensity. It’s best to use a matte shade for this because it will create depth, whereas a shimmery shade will pull light to the crease.
Once I’m happy with the placement of my cut crease, I clean up the lid with a tiny bit of concealer so it will appear sharp and crisp. I prefer to have the line softer as it blends up into the transition shade.
On a flat shader brush, I packed on “Bonjour” ( shimmery bronze gold) on the lid up to the crease line.
Then I placed “Merci” ( copper) on the inner and outer corners for some depth.
Next, I created a dramatic wing with gel liner.

I took “Oui” (black brown with gold glitter) on an angled liner brush and set the gel liner. I also traced the cut crease with “Oui” to add some intensity to the crease. “Oui” is one of my favorite shadows in the palette. Oui s’il vous plaît!
I added more definition to the crease and cleaned up all the fallout.
On the lower lash line, I placed a bit of “Oui” then blended it out with “Le Femme”. Then placed “Merci” in the center and blended it into “bonjour” on the inner corner.
Then I finished off with a few coats of mascara. This would look great with some falsies.
On to the skin!

For my primer, I used the Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer.
I used the Revlon PhotoReady Airbrush Effect Foundation , Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, and Revlon PhotoReady Translucent Finishing Powder.
Then I contoured and brightened using the Kat Von D Shade + Light Palette. I used a combination of all 3 contour shades and “Lyric” ( banana shade) in my under eye area and “Lucid” (pink matte highlight) on the high points of my face.
For my super shiny cheek highlight, I used “flush” from the Too Faced Le Grand Palais Palette.
And I used the blush in the same palette I used on my eyes from Too Faced Le Grand Chateau.
On the lips, I wanted to go for a cranberry red so I used MAC Auburn lip liner and elf Matte Lip Color in Cranberry.
