Nothing like starting out the New Year with a good ol’ haul! I had a 20% off your entire purchase coupon so I did some damage. Stocked up on a few basics and picked up some fun treats. Not a bad way to recover from some over indulgence on New Years Eve … and New Years Day. Only took me 5 days to shake it off. LOL!
Starting out with some basics, I picked up another NYX HD Concealer in “porcelain” since I was running low on my Maybelline Fit Me.
Some lip liners, because I never seem to have the shade I need. I picked up these four from Essence for $1.49 a piece, not bad!
Always need a back up of the NYX Micro Brow so when there’s a good sale I grab one. I decided to try out a different shade then my normal Taupe, so I picked up Ash Brown. So far I’m really pleased with the shade. I think Taupe was a tad to light for me even though I am blonde my roots are a darker ash shade as well as my brows so this matches much better and looks far more natural.
Now we’re getting into the fun stuff! I decided I need a gold eyeliner so I picked up this one from Catrice. This is the only thing I’ve tried from them but if the rest of their stuff is this good then I think I will be making friends. lol. It’s super creamy and pigmented. I can’t wait to use it in a look. My swatch doesn’t do it justice.
A yellow eyeshadow? WTF are you gonna do with that?! Oh, I have plans. Not the most pigmented shadow in the world but under a good primer and base she’ll do I hope. If anyone can point me to a good pigmented yellow please do!
Now for the real goodies!
I’ve been on a real Too Faced kick lately and when this little beauty came out, I had too.
It’s all the shades! I’ve been on the hunt for a nice blush palette and there she was. Full review is on the way.

The shades are gorgeous and my kind of colors.

I have an Ulta gift card, so thanks for ideas on how to spend it! I just got the Too Faced natural eyes palette and it’s beautiful! Once I finish my Mac blush I will have to try out the blush palette!

The NYX eyebrow pencil looks interesting. I’ve been using a YBBB Super Skinny eye brow pencil from IT. Do you thinks its comparable? Love your post. I got two Ulta gift cards for Xmas that are burning a hole in my wallet.

NYX’s primal colors black eyeshadow is the greatest black I have ever seen! If you are looking for a nice yellow, take a peak at inglot’s freedom system trio – I can’t exactly remember the name, but it has three yellows in one pot and they are really great from swatching.
