Valentia Ulimate Skin Repair & Hydration Combo Review

Today, I have a review of Valentia Ultimate Skin Repair and Hydration Combo, which includes the Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask, and the True Glow Eye Cream. I received these products through Brandbacker and have been testing them out for the past week and here’re my thoughts so far. 

 

Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask

The perfect answer to your dry skin problems. First up the Hydrating Plumping Mask.  I’ve used the mask 3 times now, and so far I like it. It’s not life changing or anything but my skin feels pretty nice afterward. I’ve been battling some pretty dry skin lately, this didn’t fix it but in combination with my usual moisturizers it’s been a nice bonus to my routine. My skin does look healthier and plumper after use just not has hydrated as I would expect.
You get a good amount of product in the container. It has a jello-like consistency and looks and feels like banana pudding. Luckily, it doesn’t smell like bananas. It has a very nice scent in fact. It feels cooling and refreshing on the skin.

Apply to face avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 15-30 minutes. You might feel a slight tingling sensation which is normal. Wipe it off with a damp cloth and warm water.

I did notice a bit of tingling around my nose because the skin was irritated from being sick but other than that I felt like nothing but a thick cream on my face. It never got hard or dry, just tackier over the 30 minutes. It rinses off easily. I apply it using a flat paddle foundation brush.

I have no idea if I have increased collagen production but my skin does appear more radiant and softer. Fine lines reduced? Not really, nor am I sure about the locked in moisture. It’s a nice product, however, I’m not blown away. Now, on to the True Glow Eye Cream. This stuff I do like!

The skin around my eyes feels very nice and moisturized. It left my eye area looking very radiant and bright.The packaging is great too. A glass bottle with a pump.

A little bit goes a long way too and like with the mask you get a ton of product. I’ve used the cream every day for a week now and I’m liking how it’s performed so far. It has a nice texture, light enough to use during the day and doesn’t leave you oily but you can feel the hydration from it.

Use this cream after cleansing your face. Apply the cream gently around the area under the eye dabbing the skin with your ring finger in a circular motion around the orbital bone and moving towards the nose bridge. Apply cream twice a day.

Another thing I want to point out about Valentia is they are a cruelty free brand according to their website and made in the USA using sustainable energy, so kudos for to them for that.
