Ultra Femme Smoky Eye Feat. The Naked 3

Today I have mauve and pink smoky eye look for you created with the Naked 3 Palette from Urban Decay.

This was the look I wore for my Valentine’s date which took placed last Wednesday instead of on V-Day. We spent V-Day in bed, not what you think. We literally slept all day so we decided to hold off on our date until Wednesday. We had dinner at a local artisan pizza place and saw Zoolander 2 then got drinks. I think we stayed out until well after 3 am. 

Anyway, if you want to see how I created this look just keep reading.

First thing, as usual, I started with brows done with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade in “Taupe” and Nyx  Micro Brow in “Ash Brown”  and a primed eye with the Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I applied “Strange” (matte white) from lid to brow bone as a base shade to hide any redness and imperfections.

Next, I applied Tarte Eye Liner Pencil in “Midnight Plum” ( a black based cool toned deep purple) then smudged it all over the lid to the crease with the most color concentrated at the lash line

Next, I took “Nooner” ( deep matte mauve) into the crease concentrated the pigment at the outer portion as a transition shade and blended a bit of “Limit” ( light matte mauve) to create a smooth transition

Next, on a flat shader brush, I applied “Darkside” (grayish smoky purple) all over the lid and blended “Factory” (deep brownish mauve)  into the outer V to create depth. I pulled the shadows outward into a cat eye shape to elongate the eye.

 I took “Nooner” and blended it into the crease to smooth out the lid shades.

I brought the “Darkside” and Factory onto the lower lash line and blended the shadows out with “Nooner”.  Then I added “Buzz” ( shimmery pale pink)  to the inner corner and lined my lash line top and bottom with the Tarte liner I used earlier. 

After a couple coats of Tarte Lights Camera Lashes, the eyes are done.

For the rest of the face I used the following:

I used the Nyx Liquid Illuminator on the hight points of my cheeks.

And finally, for the lips I used Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in “Baci”

As a finishing touch, I used Black Opium fragrance from YSL

Here’s the finished look!

I wore a black chiffon maxi dress with rose gold accessories.
