AQUATION Moisturizer + Cleanser Review.

Today, I have another quick skin care review. I’ve been review crazy lately! Today’s review is of the Aquation Daily Moisturizing Lotion, Moisturizing Cream, and Gentle Moisturizing Cleanser.

AQUATION DAILY MOISTURIZING LOTION

Replenish moisture daily with this lightweight lotion enriched with ceramides and hyaluronic acid to restore and fortify skin’s natural water balance. This quick absorbing formula provides all day hydration to help relieve dryness, soften skin and sooth the itch and irritation associated with moisture loss.  For use on face and body.

The Aquation Moisturizing Lotion is a great daily moisturizer for face and body if your skin is dry like mine. It’s perfect for the body on anyone I think, but maybe feel heavy on the face if you have normal skin and way too much for oily skin. My skin is super flakey and dry so this was perfect for me. I use it as part of my morning routine after cleansing, toning and applying my serums. I give it about 15 mins to soak in before makeup. It does soak in pretty fast on the body (probably cause my skin is super dry) and it leaves little to no greasiness. It almost feels like a silicon texture on the face, like a primer leaving the skin very smooth and hydrated.

I haven’t seen any clogged pores or acne since I began use either.

If you suffer from any skin issues like eczema, dermatitis, and super dry skin  I would definitely recommend this for you.

Like the lotion, this is a great moisturizer too. I prefer this one for night-time since it is much heavier than the lotion.  It absorbs into the skin pretty quickly so it’s not uncomfortable to apply before bed and get instant relief if you’re itchy. I get super itchy at night from allergies and  dryness so this was a welcomed addition to my nightly routine. I keep it on my nightstand of standby.

The texture is very similar to the lotion just a bit thicker and heavier but still doesn’t clog pores and feel nice on the skin.

AQUATION GENTLE MOISTURIZING CLEANSER

Gently cleanse away dirt, oil and makeup while infusing moisture—revealing fresh, soft skin. Our formula won’t over dry or strip your skin and is enriched with ceramides and hyaluronic acid to help maintain the skin barrier.  For use on face and body.

• Washes away dirt, oil and makeup
• Gently cleanses without stripping
• Hydrates and softens

Fragrance free. Non-comedogenic.

Directions: Wet skin with lukewarm water. Gently massage cleanser into skin. Rinse and pat dry.

Now for the cleanser. I enjoy using this one in the morning so my skin doesn’t feel striped. I prefer a more hardcore, charcoal cleanser in my nightly routine to really get the makeup off and pore clean. This cleanser does remove makeup nicely, though, it feels like washing yourself with lotion in fact. Definitely great for those super dry days when your skin is irritated. It’s also very nice to shave with.
