- Tarte Tarteist Creamy Matte Lip Paint in Yaassss (0.10 oz)
Before we get to the lippies, the box this set comes in is sooo effin cute. I use it on my vanity now to hold all my mini lipsticks. I like minis.
Now on to the good stuff. The lipsticks!

First up, is Kat Von D Beauty Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Damned.

Damned is a deep blackened maroon, a stunning vampy shade. I’m in love with this one. The formula on the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick is a dryer one in comparison to other brands on the market but still holds it’s own in shade range and cult status. The opacity is there, and the lasting power.
The application can be less forgiving, this lipstick sets and does stain so clean up can be a bitch but still a formula none the less.

Next up is Tarte Tarteist Creamy Matte Lip Paint in Yaassss

While this shade may not be my cup of tea for everyday, I will find a use in a tutorial at some point. However, the formula is beautiful. If you are a fan of the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams of the Liquid Suedes you will like this. Long wearing but not kiss/burger proof it won’t dry your lips out and is easy to work with and apply. The opacity and pigmentation are outstanding.

Next shade is Ciate London Liquid Velvet in Head Over Heels
Head Over Hills is a more wearable bold pink. I’ll get some use out of her come spring and summer.
The formula is almost the same as the Tarteist. Pigmented, Opacity on point and not drying at all. Great liquid lipstick.

Moving into the more traditional lipstick, next is Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayon in Aubergine.Â
This one is a lovely lipstick in a pencil form, matte but not drying. The color is gorgeous. It’s deep yet bright enough it won’t just read as black. Perfect bold lipstick for anyone.
The application is quick and easy. Very forgiving formula. It applies evenly and feels great.
Bite lip products also have a lovely fresh scent. Herbal and almost citrus. I’m very happy with this one.

Now for something a little more sophisticated. Laura Mercier Velour Lovers Lip Colour in An Affair.Â
A creamy almost matte formula, very traditional type. Applies smoothly and feels light and comfortable on the lips.
The shade is what I would call an elegant bold lip. One you could pull off for any occasion. Just a beautiful shade, one I am happy to have. also, the metal casing is very nice. I love the aesthetic of Laura Mercier’s line.

Lastly, we have Sephora Rouge Cream in #49 Belly-Dancing. Probably the most
traditional of all the shades, a classic red. Not too warm, not too cool. It’s universally flattering.
The formula is also nice. Nothing out of the ordinary. On this shade the pigmentation is lovely and the formula is comfortable. Creamy and comfy. Not a bad addition to my collection.
Which shade is your fave?

Bee Beautiful. Bee You.
I love the Byte lippie but they all looked good on you. I have that set as well and I was amazed at how good the purple one looked. When I would wear purple? I don’t know but it sure was pretty.

Same here. I think for something editorial, just for fun photos.
