Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen, How’s 2017 treating ya? It snowed today in Louisiana after it being full on hot last week! … and within 3 days it’ll be back up to the 60’s.
Today I have my post showing all the makeup looks (MOTD’s) and beauty products I was loving in the month of December. If you read my December in Pictures post you know I was loving December so here are some of the makeup and beauty highlights.
If you want to check out my December in Pictures post, Check it out here: December 2016 in Pictures Get to know the women under the makeup.
Let’s jump into the December in Makeup with some of my MOTD’s.
Dec. 5th -. Simple MOTD using some Tarte Eyeshadows. Nothing exciting here really. Just something quick, easy and warm.
Dec.8th – I got my hands on the Smashbox Double Exposure Palette and created this smokey eye using the purple tones in the palette. I should have a review of the Full Exposure coming up soon. I paired this eye with Loreal Colour Riche in Mica.
Dec.9 – I got a little more creative with the Full Exposure Palette and used the warm rusty brown and rose gold shade paired with Too Lips Satin Liquid Lipstick from Colourpop as liner and lipstick. I topped the lips and cheeks with the WetnWild Gold Bar Highlighter. This was one my favorite looks of the month. Surprisingly easy.
Dec.12 – I posted this looks which I also have a tutorial for here: Holiday Glam | An Affordable and Cruelty-Free Makeup Tutorial. This look was done using only Drugstore/Affordable makeup that is also Cruelty-Free! This was also one of my favorite looks from December.
Dec.13 – I got my paws on the Anastasia Modern Renaissance Palette. I actually remembered to write down all the details of the products I used too. I was testing out tons of new stuff.

At this point, my MOTD’s weren’t in their usual format since I had family staying in my office/makeup studio. I’d moved all my makeup into my kit and didn’t have my lights set up so these are more just selfie style. My sister in law and I did out makeup every day together at the kitchen table and played with each other’s products and we also had fun playing with filters as you will see.
Dec 21 – Playing with @lunatick_cosmetic_labs contour palette and @limecrimemakeup Venus II with @mirrorsintheattic. I think I need that palette in my life.
Dec.22 – Mirrors in Attic and I raid Ulta Beauty and I played with the Lunatick Labs Contour Palette and Lime Crime Venus II again. I think I also had a Lime Crime Velvetine on the lips in Cindy. I also played with filters like crazy because my lighting was shit. lol.
Dec. 26 – We got kept it simple and elegant for a Sephora raid. I used the Sophisticate Quad from Charlotte Tilbury, a soft cream blusher from Visee and Glips Matte Lipstick in Boho Chic.
Some pretties from far away lands. From Columbia to Japan.
Dec. 29 – I did this simple and soft look which I forgot all about posting to Instagram until yesterday! LOL.
I used the Anastasia Modern Renaissance Palette, Nyx Chrome Highlighter in the lavender shade with Glips Matte Lipstick in Cupcake.
Dec 31 – My New Years Eve look. I didn’t have time to write down the details but I know I used the Kat Von D Metal Matte Palette one the eyes and Glips Burdeos on the lips. As you can see I had my set up again. LOL.
Now for some products, i have been loving all December!
First up is the Anastasia Modern Renaissance Palette. Why did I put off purchasing this for so long?! It’s so good. Full Review is coming soon!

Next thing I was so shocked by how much I loved it. It’s the ELF Flawless Finish Foundation. A review is also coming!

I found myself reaching for this little fella constantly through the month. A great cream liner for next to nothing in price.

As for primer, I have been consistently reaching for the Estee Edit Pore Vanishing Stick for those areas that I have enlarged pore and fine lines. I think it’s working well for me since I keep grabbing it. LOL.

Another palette I can’t put down since I got it is the Metal Matte Palette from Kat Von D. You can read my full thoughts here: Kat Von D Metal/Matte Palette Review + Looks

Okay, I and lipstick had a real moment this month. I brought so many and received so many in December, but these little guys I have been using for part of November and all of December. I will be doing a review on the line this month.

The black shade and I are in a relationship apparently. lol.

The other lippies I couldn’t keep my hands off were the Nyx Liquid Suedes. Such a great products. Again I have a review in the works.

I also reached for these little guys pretty consistently. The quality is outstanding on these. I’m obsessed with the gold highlighter.

I’m having a hardcore love affair with these Sonia Kashuk brushes. I mean, look at them. They might as well have my name all over them. I know you guys I know I love bees but I also love serpents. There are a few brushes in the set I don’t know how I lived without. So dramatic, I bloody well know I am. So extra in fact, these brushes get they’re own cup on the vanity. Sonia Kasuck has a matching cup I would like to have but mama was low on funds by this point and over 10 bucks for a plastic cup is pushing it.
An odd thing I was super obsessed over in December was ugly drab ass olive green nail polish paired with a metallic accent nail. (I need a navy blue now like CIA from OPI)

I rocked this polish quite a bit this month as well, I mean it has all the colors I like plus glitter.

And that’s all she wrote! How do you like this format? Makeup and Beauty in one post and Another for everything else I loved that month along with all the goings-ons and whatnots.

Inspired post! Lots of color and snakes! The Wet N Wild Gold bar is a fave of mine as well, good shimmer and price! Gotta love it. e.l.f. cream eyeliner is my other go-to, have it in coffee and it’s great. Again, good product great price. Your eyeshadow blending is on point. Enjoyed your post!
