Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. Today, I have a review of L’Oreal EverPure Volume Shampoo and Conditioner for fine color treated hair. I was lucky enough to receive the L’Oreal Vox Box from Influenster which included the shampoo and conditioner. It was great timing as I had just gotten my hair colored.

First thing, let’s talk a little about the L’Oreal EverPure Volume Shampoo and Conditioner itself.
One of the best things about them as they are Sulfate-Free as well as Paraben-Free, and no harsh salts which call strip your hair. This is especially great if you have color-treated hair meaning it won’t fade nearly as quickly as it would with harsher shampoos.
It’s also Vegan and Cruelty-free. While to my knowledge L’Oreal is not considered a cruelty free company on a whole. However, this product, in particular, is cruelty-free. I’m not here to pick about all that, cause, girl we’d be here all damn day. I’m just reviewing the product itself.

(That being said, I’m not strictly cruelty-free brand only, but I make an effort to buy cruelty-free over not. Especially in this new year, I am trying to only purchase cruelty-free. I will say, marketing gimmick or what have you, I am glad major brands are making an effort to be cruelty-free.)
Anyway, back to the shampoo and conditoner. Does it really work? In short, yes. I quite like it. I’m not typically a fan of sulfate free shampoos and conditioner because I don’t like the texture they leave behind in my hair. However, I bite the bullet because I want my hair color to stay vibrant. I noticed with this system the texture left behind wasn’t as bad as others I have used but what really made it perform well for me was swapping around the shampoo and conditioner. Meaning I applied the conditioner first and let it hang out for a minute or two, rinsed and then went in with shampoo, focusing on the roots. Not only did this get rid of the texture issue which I’m guessing is caused by the conditioner but it also increased the volume of my hair.
Using the system in the traditional way, it still gave me pretty decent volume. I think that is something that makes the L’Oreal Everpure Volume unique is that it volumizes and conditions! Your hair feels healthy when using it. I’m no stranger to volumizing shampoos and conditioners as I have very fine hair. They tend to be drying. My ends need more love than most offer because it’s also color-treated. This pairing even reversed legit conditioned my hair and have volume. Color me impressed on the performance.
The product has a clean, natural, botanical scent. Kind of medicinal.
Here’s a look at my hair on various days throughout the weeks I have been using the L’Oreal Everpure Volume.
I’m pretty low maintenance when it comes to my hair. TBH, I can’t be arsed with hair. I don’t enjoy styling my own hair in the least bit. I dread it. In these pics, I had blow dried my hair and stuffed it in a bun while I did makeup. I feel like I had decent volume, though.
Look out now, I actually used a round brush to smooth my hair while blow dried in the below pic. Typically this makes my hair rather flat but it looked pretty damn good IMO.
Lastly, I let my hair air dry here and curled it with rag curls, leaving them in a couple hours. Would anyone like a tutorial on how I do rag curls?
So, overall. I’m quite pleased with the L’Oreal EverPure Volume Shampoo and Conditioner.
You can find the L’Oreal Everpure at most all drugstores and superstores for around $7.99 but don’t forget to watch out for sales and coupons!
As always, all opinions expressed are my own no BS. I did receive these products as samples to reviews.

Amazing review, your hair looks so beautiful and healthy 😍. Unfortunately, volume shampoos and conditioners don’t have any effect on my hair because it’s tightly curled and dense.
