Welcome back! I was feeling really inspired by these pictures of this winter scene shown below, and I wanted to create a makeup look using some of the shades found in the pictures.
I wanted to use mauves, warm peaches and shimmer to make a soft and in my opinion wearable smoky eye.
If you want to see how I got this look, just keep reading below!
The first palette I used was the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette.

I have already got my brows on and eyes primed. Then I went in with Tempera from the Modern Renaissance and laid it down from lid to brow bone to create a nice smooth canvas.
Next up I took Buon Fresco into the crease and blended out to create depth and as a transition. I love this shade, it’s a soft dusty pinky mauve.
Next, I grabbed the Kat Von D Beauty Metal Matte Palette.

With the shade Velvet (Matte plum) on a small pointed crease brush, I applied Velvet into the crease and blended it out into Buon Fresco. I kept most the pigment on the outer corner, keeping it dark and adding some drama.
Then on a flat brush, I applied Volt just on the outer part of the lid and blending it in slightly. Then I took a Vermeer from the Modern Renaissance on the inner corner and blended it into Volt.
To warm up the transition I tool Fringe from the Metal Matte on a fluffy brush around the edges.
Lastly, for the eyeshadow I took Buon Fresco along the lower lashline and smoked it out, then on a pencil brush I applied Volt on the outer portion and blended it inward. I finished the shadow off with Vermeer on the inner corner.
In the waterline, I applied Nyx Wonder Pencil in light to really open the eye and applied a few coats of L’Oreal Voluminous Feline Mascara.

And that’s the eyes done.
On the lips, I used Glips Matte Lipstick in Cupcake.
