Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer Review + Demo

stories

Good morning ladies and gentlemen. Finally, I have a review of the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. This one has been a long time coming, and spoiler alert, I have been loyally using this concealer for about 2 years now. 20161008_212340

So, what’s it all about?

The Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer is a medium to full coverage concealer enriched with hydrating multi-action skincare benefits that help to diminish the look of fine lines, wrinkles, and fatigue. It also uses light reflection technology to blur and perfect the skin, all while being lightweight and crease proof.

While the formula is kind of thick, think Maybelline Fit Me but with a slightly thicker consistency, on par with the Kat Von D Beauty Lock-It Concealer. What’s unique about the Nars, however, is the light reflecting tech.

The formula is very long wearing and I have put it to the test after using it on multiple brides, it still looked flawless by the end of the night and never creased or wore away.

The Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer comes in 16 shades and one of the best shades for my pale gals out there called Chantilly. It matches perfectly to me and even highlights! A rare thing for me. Between the shade and the formula, it is one of my favorite concealers on the market. Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer gives it a good run for its money but there is just something about the Nars that keeps me coming back to it.

All in all, it’s an excellent concealer. Can you find something similar on the market but it’s still worth the hype and is a cult classic for a reason.

Here’s how the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer performs:

Here is my before, after just applying my foundation as usual.Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer (1)

I light to apply the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer to anywhere I want to bring forward or there is a shadow and undereye area with a thin layer. A little goes a long way and it’s very buildable.Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer (2)

I prefer blending out the concealer with a damp sponge, like the Read Techniques Miricle Complexion Sponge. However, Nars recommends using fingers and probably less product.Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer (5)

The formula blends out just as well with a concealer brush. I’m just not a fan of brushes for concealer and foundation.Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer (3)

Once blended out you can see the amount of coverage it gave and the highlighting effect.
Here is a close up of under the eyes before setting with powder, you can see there is minimal creasing and the skin doesn’t feel cakey or too heavy which can happen if you pile it on but that’s true for any concealer.

And here it is after setting with the Nars Light Refecting Pressed Powder.

Closer look. No creasing in my opinion nor any caking.

The Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer is formulated without parabens and alcohol. It’s also fragrance-free and non-comedogenic and retails for $30. You can find Nars at most department stores, Sephora, Ulta, and Online.  I recommend giving this one a go.

Have yall tried it? Whatcha think?

      1. The price doesn’t bother me at all, the problem is that I have 1 hour drive to first Sephora and here where I live we still have amazing European high-end brands so I just didn’t decide to pick this one ☺️

      2. Yes hope I will! I’m especially obsessed with Chanel (skin care and makeup products) and than Kiko Milano and Zoeva which are proffesional makeup brands but not that high luxury ones. These are my all-time favourite brands ❤

  1. WOW!! That concealer looks stunning! Sooo smooth and matches so well along with giving a subtle highlight! I need to go out and try this stuff now! I would probably just get the shade you got because I am a little pale too!♥

    1. Yeah, Chantilly is almost white. A shade up would be vanilla which would be an exact match for me but I like to go a shade lighter with concealer for highlighting. I definitely recommend at least getting a sample to try out. Kat von d also makes a great concealer on par with this one and has wonderful shades for pale skin.
