Happy Friday yall, Any fun weekend plans? I have a skincare review today of the Hyla3D HA Activating Complex by Jan Marini.
I’m new to this skincare range but I have testing out this serum for about a month now since I got it in the mail from Brandbacker.
So what’s it do? According to the brand, the Hyla3D takes a 3D approach to restore skin’s hydration, youthful volume and reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles. We all know Hyaluronic Acid is great for hydrating the skin and a powerful anti-aging tool so I am down to try anything with Hyaluronic Acid, especially since I battle dry skin constantly.
The product itself is a thin gel like serum that feels slightly sticky at first on the skin but soaks in. They recommend applying moisturizer after this product. It has a very pleasant scent, oddly it smells like the Too Faced Peanut Butter & Honey Palette.
So how well does this actually perform? Pretty good. I have consistently used it for a good 3 weeks – to a month now and I definitely see a difference in my skin. My fine lines aren’t quite as prominent but the best part is how hydrated my skin feels. My skin hasn’t been dry or flakey since adding this to my routine so I can’t complain.
The Hyla3D Activating Complex by Jan Marini Skin Research retails for $125 for 1oz which is not bad comparing the price point to other high-end skincare such as Guerlain, La Mer or Sisley but still pricey in my opinion.
