Good Morning. Today’s blog is a day late because I am a goof and had my days mixed up. Go me.
Anyway, today I have a review of the e.l.f. Beautifully Bare Natural Glow Face Palette and I have a look at the end I did using this palette. So let’s get started.

The Packaging

The packaging is super nice, e.l.f. really stepped it up in the compact department. The palette is made of a sturdy plastic with a mirror finish. The palette is about the size of my hand and includes a great mirror inside.
The Breakdown

Inside you get four pans of product, two blushes, one bronzer and one highlight shade. Each pan can be popped out so you can mix and match with all the other palettes done in this packaging from e.l.f. such as the contour or blush palettes.
The product itself is very nice. The powders are soft and smooth. They blend beautifully. The pigmentation isn’t super strong because the palette is meant to look “Natural” but the shades can be built up. It’s a foolproof kind of palette.
The shades are more suited to fair to medium/light skin tones. It’s perfect for fair skin all around.

Both blushes are in the peach family, one slightly deeper and muted and the other lighter and vibrant. Great texture and soft pigmentation.

The bronzer shade is warm but very light and goes on pretty sheer. It’s one of those perfect pale gal bronzers.

The highlighter is a very soft neutral shade. It really has no real color on the skin, the sheen is just a radiant opalescent glow. It’s pretty unique to me. It’s very natural but like I said it can be layered up. I would describe it more as an illuminating powder more closely related to Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders that can be used as a finishing powder which is how I use this one and go in with a different highlighter because I am extra.
The Look

On the eyes, I used a combination of the blushes from the e.l.f. Beautifully Bare Palette and the peachy shade from the Too Faced Peanut Butter & Honey Palette. I used the blushes, highlight, and bronzer on my face and WetnWild Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Hickory Smoked on the lips.
The Verdict
All in all, this is a nice palette. I am glad I purchased it. I found mine at my local Wal-Mart Market Place while I was getting groceries for only $8. Considering the quality, that is a steal.
The e.l.f. Beautifully Bare Natural Glow Face Palette is perfect for beginners, or when you don’t want to fuss too much with your makeup. Like I mentioned it is definitely more suited for fairer skin tones, hopefully, they make one to suit deeper skin tones. I say that a lot about e.l.f. though. The just don’t offer enough shade options in their range.
That’s my thoughts on this little cute little palette. I’ll see ya Monday for a Weekly Edit.

This looks so gorgeous! I’m not a blush person, I have rosy cheeks to begin with so I’m always afraid to use blush but, maybe this palette would be good for me! Thanks for sharing it!
