Summer was kicked off with a lovely tropical storm. It was supposed to hit us hard but luckily the worst I got was my chair cushion of my outdoor chair was flipped over. LOL!

Sadly, I don’t have a single picture from this day but it was the annual 4th of July party. I spent the entire day in the pool with friends. From 3pm – 3am. It was a blast. Thankfully, the weather was perfect. The fireworks were on point this year for sure and so was the food. Since I got me a little base “tan” going from the lake, I didn’t get burnt at all. Can’t say the same for my husband. LOL! We piled on the sunscreen all day too.
After the epic day of swimming and sun, much recovery time was needed. I spent a majority of the time these last couple of weeks fixing my blog images because Photobucket took away 3rd party hosting unless you paid for the highest premium tier which cost around $500 a year. Photobucket can go fuck itself! I’m in the process of transferring my pictures over to WordPress and replacing them in posts. It’s taking for fucking ever but I’m getting it done slowly but surely. Seriously though, Photobucket can eat a bag of dicks. I have used their service for over 10 years and then they pull some shit like that. Way to fuck over all your users who did pay for the extra bandwidth which I have done in the past.

The Makeup Loves
I can’t stop reaching for this lipstick. It’s one of those lippies that just go with everything, no brainer kind of thing.
Since I got a “tan”, I actually need bronzer to balance out my makeup. This one from Hourglass will forever be my favorite. I have the most ridiculous tan lines right now. My bathing suit has cut outs on the torso part so now. It looks like I have Jack o Lantern eyes on my tummy… Somebody call Vogue.
I say I am not a gloss person but for this metallic gloss from Lancome I sure am! Perfect for summer.
Lastly. I have really been enjoying the Loreal Revitalift Moisturizer. Finally, a moisturizer that really hydrates my skin. I really like this one.
The Past
Man, I loved me some filters. These pics are from when I went back blonde I believe from red. Both were from date nights. Probably karaoke nights.
The Entertainment
I found a few shows on Hulu the to binge that I loved. 
Sex Drugs and Rock and Roll was an around entertaining show. Like a funnier Rescue Me with musicians instead of Firemen. Loved it.
Younger was surprisingly funny, sweet and just plain cute. I didn’t realize how much I missed Hilary Duff. LOL!
Blackish is such a cute show, I laughed so hard at it. I love a classic sitcom. Some episodes were hilarious and others were pretty deep and dealt with social issues. Those episodes were done well for a comedy.
A show the deals with social issues really well to me is The Carmichael’s, It’s a comedy as well but more real gritty and relatable. It’s a throwback to the 70’s sitcoms like All in Family, Good Times, Maude, and The Jeffersons. It’s filmed in the classic sitcom way, I believe with a live audience. I really enjoy the show and like how it deals with real issues but can still make you laugh. We need more shows like these that can open some minds.

The Future
