Get the Look – Atmosphere – Urban Decay Naked 3 Makeup Tutorial

10

Finally, finishing up my Urban Decay Naked Series today with a tutorial on this summery day time look with the Naked 3 Palette.

I did a light rose gold eye and paired it with deep forest green eyeliner along the upper lash line and went with a dusty pink lip.

In today’s look, all the eyeshadows are from the Naked 3 aside from the shadow I used to set my eyeliner. In case you missed it, I have a full review of the Naked 3 plus more looks here: Urban Decay Naked 3 Review | Swatches | Looks

I have already done my brows and primed my eyes with an eyeshadow primer from e.l.f. and a little bit of concealer to cancel out all the newly acquired freckles. Then I set everything with a light coat of Strange (pale neutral pink matte-satin) all over the lid.

On a fluffy brush, I applied Limit (light dusty rose matte) into the transition area.

Then on a smaller fluffy brush, I took Nooner (medium pinky-brown matte) into the crease and on the outer and inner corners of the lid, leaving a space in the center bare.

Next, I grabbed this shadow pencil from Covergirl in the shade Flamed out as a base for the next shade.

I put the pencil into the center part of the lid that I left bare.

With my finger, I patted on the shade Trick (light metallic pinky-copper shimmer with tonal micro-sparkle) over top of that shadow pencil.  I also put a touch of Burnout (light pinky-peach satin) on the inner corner around the tear duct.

Next, I lined my upper waterline and lash line with the Nyx Faux Blacks in Black Olive. I love the way this shade of green pairs with the rose gold and dusty rose eye shadow.

I went over top of the liner with a deep olive eyeshadow. This didn’t change much, I was just experimenting. This is an eyeshadow from an old Sephora palette for green eyes that I have hung onto just for the two green eyeshadows.

I kept the liner close to the lash line and thicken the line as it went to the outer corner giving a lifted effect to the eye with out doing a wing. This is how I like to do liner for day time, I use an off black and this technique.

On the lower waterline, I added the Nyx Faux Whites in Linen to really brighten and open up my eyes.

To bring a bit more of a dusty pink color to the eye, I took a little bit of my blush and dusted it around the outside of the eyeshadow in the transition area on a big fluffy brush, I also went along the lower lashline with the blush. This blush is from the Tarte Tarteist Contour Palette. It’s a perfect warm rosy shade. One of my favorites.

I deepened up the lower lash line with Nooner and applied Burnout to the inner corner and blended it over into Nooner. I added a touch of my highlighter, e.l.f. Baked Highlighter in Blushed Gems,  around the tear duct to brighten the inner corner as well.

Lastly for the eyes I curled my lashes and applied a couple of coats of L’oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise.

The Face

On the face I used my new favorite trio from L’oreal. The L’Oreal Infallible Pro Glow has been a favorite since its launch last year, but I just picked up concealer and setting powder. LOVE! I’ll have a review of both coming up soon.

For contour, blush, and highlight, I went with the Tarte Tarteist Contour Palette. I love this one for summer, while the contour shades are great for pale skin, they have a hint of warmth. I use the deeper shade for contour and lightly bronze with the lighter shade. The blush I used on the eyes. It’s a great no brainer blush that works with everything.

And for my glow, I used e.l.f. Baked Blush in Blushed Gems. We are having a moment.

The Lips

For the lips, I kept it simple with a dusty rose shade. I went with my trusty favorite. Nyx Liquid Suede in Soft Spoken paired with the matching lip liner.

Holy over drawn lips, Batman! Don’t care. I’m digging it right now.
