Just being boring AF. Seriously this week started out pretty slow. 
Monday was a boring day of errands. Ordered new tires for the car, had lunch at Popeyes. Nothing exciting at all.

Apparently, I decided to take Wednesday off from blogging. lol. and went to the bar with my roomie and met up with a friend for catfish night. I spent most of my free time this week still fixing borked images thanks to effin photobucket.

Things got a little more fun by Thursdays. We ended up having an impromptu happy hour with all the girls at El Parian Mexican Restaurant. Bogo Margaritas. Seriously. they have the best Mango Margaritas. My tummy was way too mad at me to have one though. Thanks to chili dogs. LOL!
My obsession with L’Oreal Lash Paradise began for real though. A review is coming up Wednesday!

Tuesday was a great day, Got together with a couple of the girls and drove out of town to eat at Mi Tierra Restaurante Mexicano which was amazing. Best tamales and I got to try mole sauce which is made from hot chiles and chocolate, served over chicken. It was different but delicious.
You can see, I have been into simple and easy makeup lately. It’s just too damn hot for much.

Another awesome day and some more interesting makeup. My BFF Brooke and I went to Monroe to the Pecanland Mall to hit up Torrid. Fuck yes, Torrid and buy one get one FREE on clearance! Are you joking my ass?! Free jeans. Hell yeah.
Also, that Torrid changing room lighting tho. Damn. I would do nothing but take selfies if I worked there. Oh yeah, and on my face is Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Contour Palette on the eyes and Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in 1993 on the lips.

Friday was a nice day, even though my husband had to go back on nights at work, we spend the afternoon together. Grabbed sushi and a donut for desert. It was just one of those pleasant days.

I had a really good hard day last week, didn’t share it until Sunday on Instagram. This week I took a break from the blog. It was a weird week. I just shared a few pics on Instagram and took a break. This was just an off week, things felt… not good. I’m not going to go into everything, but the week did turn around and things happened for a reason I feel.
Anyway, one of our goodest bestest friend came and stayed the week with us. Though the week started out really bad, by the end of it there was so much love and good company in our home. I feel hopeful for what is to come. We spent the whole week cooking, playing video games and just hanging out. I think we all needed a break.

National Lipstick Day and a night out that was a bit of an adventure.
Saturday started out with a few of us at the bar but there were just bad vibes there for some reason. So Lila and I ended up going to meet a friend out at the Paragon Casino to see a band. We ended up crashing a concert with some ol boy from Journey. Not Steve Perry. Seriously. I didn’t get carded once and walked right into a show you had to have tickets for. WTF? 
Anyway, after a couple songs there we hung out a newer bar that just added and watched another band and had a couple beers. Pretty nice time. I was really into the light fixtures at this bar.
I was also all kinds of extra with the makeup. I was going for some Morticia Addams realness.
On the eyes is Kat Von D Beauty Shade + Light Palette and Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Liquefied in Flambe on the lips.
That wraps up my last few weeks, Sunday was spent being lazy AF and slightly hungover and ended with more good food and friends.

So I found a couple cool apps that add glitch filters to your pics. Makes them look very vaporwave. I’m loving playing with these. My favorites are called Glitch and Glitchr
Obviously, I have been having fun with those. LOL.
