L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Review – Best Drugstore Mascara?!

What up guys! If you couldn’t tell from the title and the header, we are testing out the new L’oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara. I mean… do I even need to tell you my thoughts after seeing the header picture? That’s one coat. I am shooketh. lol! There’s no way around it, this has to be one of the best mascaras I have ever used, not just drugstore and believe me I have tried my fair share of high-end and drugstore.

But no review would be complete with out some details and a full breakdown. Is this a Too Faced Better than Sex dupe? Keeping reading below and we’ll talk all about it.

The Breakdown

The L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise comes in some very familiar packaging, much like Too Faced Better than Sex, down to the marketing with the statistics and numbers. There’s no hiding what they were doing with that.

The brush has an hourglass silhouette and L’oreal claims it has 200 + bristles to coat every lash for a “dramatic volumizing effect”

Yeah, it’s essentially the same brush as Too Faced Better than Sex, but does it perform the same?

In my opinion, Lash Paradise out performs Better than Sex by far. Lash Paradise, not only gives me amazing volume but it gives me length for days that Better than Sex just didn’t give me, it gave me volume but not like this. I cannot get over how great this mascara makes my lashes look.

My other issue with Better than Sex was flaking. This doesn’t flake hardly at all if any. As far as clumping, it can happen if you layer it too much like with any mascara but it’s minimal. On my first application, I found the wand a tad clumsy because it is large and the formula a bit messy but now that I have adjusted to the wand and the product has been open a week it’s dried down a little and is perfection.

The Demo

You can see after 2 coats it can get a bit clumpy but nothing terrible. It’s more volume than anything and the brush really does get every lash. I didn’t know I had that many lashes. LOL! For the demo, I did curl my lashes like I always do.

I bought this in the waterproof formula by mistake because it isn’t clearly labeled so watch out for that. It’s a bitch to remove, girl. You are gonna need some cleansing oil but it is budge proof. It’s not going anywhere so it’s great for these warmer months and summer activities.

The Conclusion

The L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise is everything! No shade to Too Faced because I have gone through TUBES of Better than Sex but Lash Paradise is Better than Sex and Ice Cream!

The Lash Paradise retails from $8.99 – $9.99 depending on where you shop, half the price of Better than Sex, just saying.
