Hello and welcome back for another review. Today, I have a review of the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks as well as some swatches of the shades I currently own. Nothing too fancy today, just a quick review.
So if you want to hear my thoughts and see some swatches, just keep reading below!

The Breakdown
I have 3 shades at the moment of the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick, I had more but have passed on shades that were not working out for me.
First thing I want to talk about though is the performance and formula. This is a drying formula, it can get flaky and gross if you apply too much. It’s not the worse formula but it’s not the best formula. The appeal of these is the shade range. As much as I love KVD, these aren’t my favorite.
Not all shades are created equal either. Some apply beautifully, others are harder to work with and take some finesse.
The Swatches
The first shade I have is Bachelorette which is fantastic.

This shade applies opaque, smooth and vibrant. I also have this shade in the traditional lipstick formula. The shades are exactly the same in both formats. There is a lot of cross over shades between the lipsticks and the liquid.

Next shade I have is Vampira.

This one is a unique deep blood red. It can be a bit patchy and takes some effort to perfect. I feel like it takes a few thin layers to get opaque.
The finish on this shade is in testing, it’s a matte but you can see a slight yellow sheen to it. It really does look like blood.
My biggest complaint about this shade is that when it sheers out it can go purple.

Lastly is Damned.

Damned is an almost black burgundy. Again, a really cool shade like Vampira but like Vampira,

this one also takes some babying to get an even application.

The Verdict

On a whole the lipsticks are cool. It really depends on personal preference if you are willing to but the work in with these. They take some effort. Since the shades are quite unique and nuanced, I am willing to go the extra mile for them on occasion. I had one of the very light shades, in a peachy coral and hated the way it applied, however. It was patchy and gross but that’s one shade.
If you see a shade you really like and can go to Sephora and swatch it, do.
The Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick retails for $20 at Sephora and katvondbeauty.com
There are new shades launching all the time too!
This post is a little short and dry but I wanted to get it up this week. I have a review coming tomorrow hopefully of the Studded Kiss Lipstick.
