Lust or Bust | Kat Von D Beauty – Lips + Fragrance Pt 3

Olivia Shaw (1).png
Welcome back! Today, I have the last installment of my Kat Von D Lust or Bust Series with the lip products and fragrance.
Let’s jump in a talk all about it!

Studded Kiss Lipstick

I want to start with the Studded Kiss Lipstick. I have a full review of these, well, the shades  I own anyway over here: Review | Swatches – Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick. On a whole, these are great lipsticks. There are some better than others like any lipstick collection and you will see proof of that in my review.

The real highlight of this range is the shades. There is a shade for everyone in a variety of finishes. The finishes include 26 mattes, 8 metallic, 1 sheer and 5 shimmer shades.

Below is just a small selection of the shades from the line. These retail for $21 a piece but there are always great value sets at Sephora where you can get a great selection of minis or full size for a killer deal. For example, you can get a set of  5 of the most popular nudes in full size for $63 which means you get  2 lipsticks free!

Everlasting Liquid Lipstick

I also have a review of the Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks here: Review | Swatches – Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick. Like the Studded Kiss Lipstick, there is an impressive shade range here as well but some are better than others. Some can be patchy and streaky but others apply flawlessly. However, with the coordinating lip liner, you can get them to work just like with the Studded Kiss. To me, it comes down to how unique the shade is whether I want to put in the effort.

These little guys retail for $20 a piece but there are value sets and limited edition shades galore.

Everlasting Lip Liner

The Everlasting Lip Liners are a retractable liner in shades that coordinate with the Studded Kiss Lipsticks and the Everlasting Lipstick. The formula on these is great. However, unless you really need one of the shades to match a lipstick I would skip on these for $18. That’s a lot for a lip liner when there are some great options at the drugstore.
Unless they come out with some value sets of these, I will be passing.

Everlasting Glimmer Veil

I haven’t gotten a chance to swatch these because my local Sephora has yet to stock them but they look pretty cool. I would love to try the shade Wizard. Apparently, this set and wear like a liquid lipstick. I think paired with any other lipstick you can really get some unique shade combinations.

Saint + Sinner Eau De Pardum

Lastly the perfume. I never tried the original Saint + Sinner Perfume but the packaging on these is gorgeous. They remind me of the Elizabeth and James Nirvana Set where you can wear alone or pair together. I personally wasn’t a huge fan of Saint but I love Sinner.

These are have been released in cute sets with limited edition liquid lipsticks, which I believe will be back for the Holiday season or a new set, I’m not sure yet but I’ll add an update when I find out.

That concludes my Kat Von D Lust or Bust Series! About time huh? I’m currently waiting for the Saints and Sinners Palette to go live so I can buy it! I’m so excited for it.
I’ll see you guys back here Wednesday for a review. Hope everyone’s week is off to a good start.  What other brands should I do a Lust or Bust on? Let me know in the comments below? I am planning on with all the Holiday releases.
