Good Evening, tonight I have a review of the Maybelline Dream Brightening Creamy Concealer. I got this little guy a while back from Influenster but haven’t gotten around to typing up my review until now. I have some thoughts on this one and wanted to share them with ya’ll.
The Packaging
The packaging is a simple twist up style jumbo pencil. Nothing too fancy or special.
The Breakdown
The Maybelline Dream Wonder Brightening Concealer claims to be medium to full coverage with a luminous finish. I would say it’s medium coverage at best and I don’t get anything luminous from this concealer. It claims to have light reflecting pearls to give a bright eye effect.
Well, to be honest, this is one of the worst concealers I have ever used all around. The coverage isn’t super great which I can live with but the finish it leaves is horrendous.
This concealer is somehow creamy and slippery yet drying and powdery. It brings out every imperfection, fine line, and dry patch. It ages the undereye and emphasizes every bit of texture.
The Demo
Have a look at how bad this stuff look under the eye. Here it is freshly applied and you can see how it is bringing out every bit of roughness, texture, and lines.
I finished the skin up using Maybelline Dream Wonder Fluid Foundation, and Dream Wonder Powder, both of which I enjoy but this concealer is just the worst. I mean look at that creasing. I’m 30, I have some fine lines under my eye but this stuff made them look ten times worse and the texture is so bad.
This is just a dud for sure.
The Verdict
Pass on this one. The Maybelline Dream Wonder Brightening Concealer retails for $7.99. I have spent even less on concealers that perform better. I tried using this concealer multiple times with different techniques and tools, different foundations and powders and this was as good as it gets here.
I hate doing negative reviews, but at the same time, I don’t want anyone to waste their money one something this bad. I will say, I don’t hate the makeup look I did on a whole aside from the concealer. LOL.

I can see that it didn’ t work. I hate stick concealers they are most of time duds 😂. But good review for sure✔️✔️

They usually are duds, I happened to get sent this one, I wouldn’t have bothered to buy this one my own for sure. I really can’t think of a stick concealer I like. LOL! This one though, jeez.
