Kathleen Lights x Colourpop Dream Team Lip Bundle Review + Swatches

Alright! Today I have a fairly quick review for ya’ll of the Kathleen Lights x Colourpop Dream Team Lip Bundle which includes 2 Ultra Satin Liquid Lipsticks and an Ultra Glossy Lip Gloss.

In this post, I have swatches of each shade and my thoughts. Let’s get started.

Kathleen Lights has worked with Colourpop a few times and her collabs with them are always stunning. I am really feeling so fomo over not getting the Dream Street Palette. I might have to get it. I picked up her Dream Team Bundle when I was ordering a few other items because the shades looked gorgeous and the bundles are a great deal.

The Dream Team Bundle comes in at $16. I think you save a little getting the bundle over purchasing separately but these are all available separately as well.

It’s been a minute since I purchased from Colourpop and I can definitely say they have improved the formula. I liked the formula before but it’s even better now. The Ultra Satin formula is my favorite and this is my first time trying the gloss. I really enjoy the gloss formula, it wears a decent amount of time, not sticky or stringy. I will be getting more glosses from Colourpop.  The Ultra Satin formula is a long wear liquid lipstick that doesn’t fully set or get dry on the lips, not unlike the NYX Liquid Suede.

The Shades + Swatches

First up is the Ultra Glossy Lip in the shade Moonchild which may or may not has been my sole motivation to buy this bundle. Anyway, this is sheer to medium opacity pinky nude gloss with soft gold micro-shimmer. The formula on this one is smooth and not super sticky. It wears a pretty decent length of time. One of my favorite glosses to wear alone or over top a lipstick.

Next is Dreamy, which is an Ultra Satin Liquid Lipstick in a peachy pink shade. Perfect for every day, it’s a flattering shade on my skin tone and doesn’t emphasize texture on the lips or look and feel dry. It’s very comfortable and opaque in one swipe. These kinds of shades of my go to’s for days when I want a more mellow lip.

Lastly, we have this amazing shade called Rever, also an Ultra Satin in a neon red-orange. Super opaque and gorgeous formula that is so flattering on the lips. I am in love with this color. This is not a shade I would normally pick up but this bundle called to me and Rever ended up being such a pleasant surprise. I love the tone. It’s my perfect orangey red. This is apparently Kathleen’s signature shade, I haven’t watched enough of her content to know but that’s cool, Kathleen.

All three of these shades are super flattering for pale/fair skin and could work for just about any skin tone really. They are pretty universal. 

Overall, I am so happy with this purchase and can’t recommend these lippies enough.
