What up guys? Today I have a Makeup of the Day post that is encompassing a whole week because I have was pretty busy all week with other stuff and didn’t get around to getting this up sooner so I just added all the makeup and misadventures of the whole week in one post. In this one, we have a MOTD, some yummy food, nails, beers. So if ya wanna see more, just keep reading below.
The week began and ended with beers. Not the norm for me but it was this week.
The week also entailed a lot of home decor and office shopping/planning. I will be doing a post later today on my office and beauty room ideas. While I was searching for office decor at Target I meandered over beauty and picked up these beauty sponges from Sonia Kashuk. These sponges are fire! so good. Look how big and fluffy they get wet! I love it. These have taken the place of my beloved Eco Tools sponge and Real Techniques. They are also on $10 for a set of two.
Anyway, during the week I did quite a few makeup demos/wear tests. This one is for the Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless and the Maybelline Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder. Also, I did a mascara wear test here too. That was the whole point of doing this look. I’m pretty sure it was 3am when I did this and I was trying to get my sleep pattern sorted out. Didn’t happen. On the eyes is Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Contour Palette paired with Bite Beauty Lip Crayon in Glace I believe.
Yeah, the sleep pattern stayed screwed up for the rest of the week and that moon necklace that I have had since I was in 2nd or 3rd grade gave me a rash. LOL.
I got a fun surprise in the mail from Neutrogena! I was expected just the Hydro Gel moisturizer but I got the whole line! I was so excited. Look at me getting PR and shit. I’m coming for you Tati and you’re pr videos. LOL!
The next day was more foundation test, This time it was the Maybelline Superstay Foundation. On the eyes is the Kat Von D Shade + Light once again paired with Colourpop Ultra Satin Liquid Lipstick in Rever from Kathleen Lights X Colourpop’s Dream Team Bundle topped with the Ultra Glossy Lip from the You’re Gem Bundle. I can’t recall the name and most my makeup is packed up at the moment in preparation for the beauty room/office overhaul. I again was doing makeup at 4 am cause no sleep, and Ross and I went and had breakfast at Cracker Barrel as they open at 6 am. I love a good Cracker Barrel trip. I was told before leaving to change shirts… Apparently, a Cradle of Filth shirt isn’t Cracker Barrel attire.
My roommate found some of the China Glaze My Little Pony nail polishes on clearance and she got me the black one with holo micro glitter. We found layering it with the blue/purple duo chrome made an amazing nail combination. Vaporwave nails.
Which brings me to my current obsession… again. Vaporwave. My husband’s friend sent him a video from a band called Gunship and I haven’t stopped listening to this album since. All week on repeat. You guys know I am all about the vaporwave/cyberpunk style.
The obsession is real. I am planning a Tech Noir makeup look once I get settled back in my office. I am currently working on the couch on my laptop… I don’t like it. I need my nook. LOL. I hate the house being in such disorder, there is office stuff all over the living room and random stuff. My makeup is packed up. It’s no fun.
So I spent the end of the week before, I had to clear out of my office planning and getting some posts ready to go. I can’t see to edit pictures on this damn laptop because the color is fucked so I use a 27-inch monitor hooked up to the laptop. Well, I can’t do that in the living room. So I got stuff all prepped and I can just write from the lappy. I think I mentioned in the last post that I am getting my husbands desktop which is an Alienware Area 51. It’s a beast. and I’m getting a Galaxy Tab S3 to use in place of the laptop. The color of that thing is amazing plus it comes with the stylus and I am getting the keyboard cover. That thing is gonna change the game for me and the desktop. Minimize clutter on my desk and be more efficient. I’m so excited, We are waiting for his new beast of a computer to come in still. 
Oh yeah, and I got a cover for my planner on clearance for 10 bucks! Normally around $40. I am very pleased with that.
Friday rolled around and I was so frustrated with Instagram. Within 5 mins of posting a pic, I get spammed with comments about jewelry, sunglasses and instabeeyou bullshit. I report them as spam every time but it’s useless. Every damn post.
That evening, Ross and I decided to go have a beer after running an errand and getting dinner. We went and had taco salads. Fuck that place on a Friday night. Loud ass kids and live country music. So anyway, we end up at the bar for a couple beers which turned into… 10? I ended up getting into the Absinthe and having a damn blast. Just me and Ross hanging out in bed after the bar drinking. We haven’t done that in YEARS and laughed so much.
Saturday was a day devoted to a mild hangover and just being super lazy. We binge watched Altered Carbon, napped and the watched Stranger Things until 11 am the next day. So Sunday we decided to check out Walk-Ons, a sports bar that just opened. I think Drew Brees has something to do with it. I dunno I don’t sports. The food though.
We started with Venison Chili Nachos. By far my favorite.
The I had the Blackened Chicken Caser Salad. 
And Ross got the Surf and Turf Burger.
It was hella packed there and the weather was terrible. We thought, in the bad weather and 11am on Sunday right when they opened it might not be busy. We were soooo wrong but it was worth it. My hungover ass needed it. I figured we would crash once we got home but nope, we were sucked back into Stranger Things 2 and stayed up until 5pm then crashed. I woke up around 3 am so my sleep pattern is sorted out if I don’t fuck it up by taking a nap.
But yeah, that was my week. The furniture arrives today so I am excited about that. We have to get some glass cut for the tops so I don’t ruin the surfaces. LOL.
I’ll leave ya’ll with the laughs while me and Pumpkin hang here on the couch and listen to Gunship.
