Happy Sunday, This was a pretty nice weekend. We had great weather despite the allergies being in full bloom and my foot/ankle is angry, It was still a good weekend and I am looking forward to a new week.
On to the Makeup and Misadventures of the weekend
So this weekend was pretty fun but before we get into that, if you read my post about my office/beauty room redo you will know we are redecorating and getting new furniture. I am finally back in my office which from here on out will be referred to as my studio, LOL. The furniture has been set up, makeup decluttered and organized. The office stuff and stationary is sorted and filed away. I have been a busy bee. All that’s left is getting the glass tops, lighting and few decor pieces then on to the living room with a refresh. Friday started out with lunch at Walk-Ons again. I got a chicken wrap this time and it was awesome! Here’s the description from the website because I can’t recall what it was made of.
I was trying to be as healthy and keto with my choice, I subbed the fries for venison chili but cheat day because this was on the menu:
Fuck me up! Bitch! This was everything! If you have a Walk-Ons near you, get this. There are currently on locations in Texas and LA.
Friday evening lead into a night out. We were going to see a friend perform in a play. I haven’t gone to a play as an adult so I was unsure how to dress. I know, uncultured swine! LOL. I opted for kind of dress casual I guess and did the same with the makeup. Just a classic look I would go to for special events.

Before the play we had drinks at the Brewhouse and Melting Pot then back to the Brewhouse, but my allergies were killing me so and the Michelob Ultra’s weren’t setting well (uncultured swine indeed, Michloeb Ultras) Hey, they only have 2 carbs and taste pretty decent. I am no beer cognisor. I dislike most of them aside from New Castle, Guinness and Modello Negro. I am dark beer fan usually but they kick my butt these days and have too many carbs.
Saturday was a fairly lazy day aside from grocery shopping. Pumpkin got a new toy which she hasn’t put down since.

That brings us to Sunday, today. This was a nice day. I mean look at that sky.
My sinuses are finally coming to terms with the pollen thanks to some allergy meds and I am feeling pretty good aside from my foot. I broke a toe 2 years ago and it messed something up in my foot and the pain has spread to my ankle. Anyway, it’s not the worse thing in the world, I will take it over my scoliosis back pain any day. The back pain has been greatly reduced since losing weight. Now that I think about it, I walked all over the mall today with zero back pain. That’s pretty amazing. This time last year I could barely walk to be honest with you because the pain was so intense. Speaking of weight loss, I haven’t weighed in a couple of months because I was getting obsessive. I get obsessive with stuff like that so I just quick weighing and kept up the healthy lifestyle. This week I accidentally grabbed an old pair of jeans thinking they were my current favorites, they were actually my pair I have been saving as goal jeans. Anyway, I put them on and they fit. They fit! I haven’t been able to wear these jeans for at least 5 years. Well before we moved into our home. This keto diet has really changed my life. My PCOS is under control, I feel better than I did at 18 mentally and physically. It’s pretty fucking amazing and it’s fucking easy, dude.
Anyway, today’s makeup was super simple and quick as I was short on time. I used the Kat Von D Shade+Light Contour Palette on my eyes and face paired with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sugar Glow Kit and Mood Exposure Blush from Hourglass. We will talk about the lips in a minute because I think I found my number 1 lipstick shade.

On the lips, I used Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Patina. Why have I just now gotten my paws on this one? It’s sooo good. I just bought a shit ton of Stila Lippies cause I love the formula and this was one of them.
The obsession is real!
So today was a girls day in town. The bar is having a fundraiser and benefit so we went to go pick out some items to be auctioned off and door prizes plus a little trip to Ulta and Sephora… and victoria’s secret.
While we were looking at things to auction at a store called Tuesday Morning, I don’t know if they are a chain. It’s kind of like Home Goods. I found Pumpkin the perfect new bed for the living room. She likes to have a bed to hang out in where she can still see me in the kitchen. This one was so perfect and only $15. SOLD!
That little turd knew it was hers before I even had it out of the bag fully. She loves it too… and her hoggy.
We also had a nice dinner at Chili’s and I got to spend some time with my sister and her mini-me at the mall. I found so many things at Victora’s Secret I need. I know everyone is out on them right now but ya girl needs a new bra and those fit me perfectly. I’m a small 36 C cup there and they fit like a dream. Depending on the bra I can do a B cup. No one size across the board.
That brings us to right now. I am sitting here in my newly redone studio listening to Gunship and getting ready to plan the week out.
