How’s everybody doing today? I have a review of the Mary Kay Lash Intensity Mascara for ya’ll. I love trying new mascaras from drugstore to high-end and everywhere in between. The past couple of weeks I have been testing out the Mary Kay Lash Intensity so if you wanna see my thoughts and how it performs, just keep reading below.

I got this mascara as a gift with purchase or because my Mary Kay rep who is a close friend is awesome and she threw it in the bag when I bought 4 bottles of eye makeup remover. The eye makeup remover is THAT good! They run a sale and me and my roommate stock up.
Girl, look at the component. It’s so short and fat (ME!) and I like the twisty effect. It’s a cute tube.
This mascara has some pretty big claims. Just, I’m gonna copy paste them because it’s a lot and you gotta read it.
“Magnify. Maximize. Multiply the look of your lashes. That’s intense!
- Expand and extend with our only mascara dedicated to multidirectional performance.
- With 200% more volume, it’s like adding the thickness of two lashes onto every one; plus, get 84% longer-looking lashes!*
- Special Double-Impact™ brush designed to plump while combing through to lengthen the look of lashes.
- Mineral-rich, high-impact pigment envelops each lash in a perfect shade of black.
*Based on an independent clinical study measured by an expert grader after applying two coats of mascara”
So does it live up too all that?! Ya know, it kinda does. I don’t know about 200% more volume but it it’s pretty good. LOL.

Let’s look at this wand, also huge and I kind of love it because it does apply the mascara really well but it can get messy because it is so big. Not a deal breaker for me though, Let the mistakes dry and they will flake right off with a fingernail, q-tip or spoolie.

You can talk all day about a mascara but I feel like it really is one of those products you gotta see in action. So here is a pic of my natural lashes.
And two coats later. BAM! This mascara gives length and volume pretty darn well. My only real complaint as it doesn’t hold a curl and isn’t budge-proof. It will run very easily.
You can’t deny it makes my lashes look damn good though. But will purchase it in the future? Honestly, I haven’t repurchased a mascara in ages because I am always trying new ones out. LOL! That being said, at the $18 price point, probably not but that’s because drugstore brands make hella good mascaras for around $10 and under. All in all, though, I do like this mascara.

I spoke about her in my last Mary Kay review and what an amazing mom she is. That girl amazes it me. I don’t know how she manages.

Great review! The photos are really great and show the product really well. It really does look like a super cute mascara, the twisty look of the tube is very good. I will be checking this out. 🙂

Your review reminded me about Mary Kay cosmetics, many years ago some of their products were really good! I was Mary Kay consultant for about 6 months, but it was long time ago 🙂 It is time to search what’s new in their range 😉

I have a nostalgic spot for Mary Kay and Avon. I go see what’s new every few months.
