Makeup of the Day | March 30th – April 2nd, 2018. – Bar, Benefit and Monthly Favorites

Hello, beauties, a new week and a new month. Any new goals?

I have a couple MOTD’s to share, what I got up to last weekend and a few favorites, let’s jump in.

First look up, I have no memory of what or why I did makeup on this day, TBH. I think Ross and I grabbed dinner at the bar. I know I just wanted to play with the Huda Beauty Mauve Obsessions Palette and do something soft and romantic. One the lips are Bite Beauty Matte Lip Crayon in Glace topped with Buxom Full On Lip Cream in Dolly.

Next day was errands and grocery shopping, I also ended up at the bar that evening and blogged while I was there. For this look, I wanted to dig into the red shades in the Mauve Obsessions and paired this eye with griege matte lippy from Ciate Matte Velvet Lipstick in Bitter Sweet.

Then came Saturday. I was asked to help out at the bar for a benefit so I worked the door. I was dressed pretty casual in a hoodie and legging but went kind of glam on the makeup. A little bit of that Instagram Baddie look I guess. I used the Huda Beauty Smoky Obsessions and Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick in Softi. I got a ton of compliments on this look too. I was pretty happy with it as well.

On to some better and brighter things. I hit 3,000 subs on my WordPress right before midnight on March 31st, hitting my monthly goal! 2,000 more to my yearly goal of 5,000.

Also. 3737 on insta, I love weird number things like that. The monthly goal for insta would be to his 4,000. We’ll see. Instagram growth is so slow.

Monthly Favorites

First off is my Tech Noir tutorial. Gunship even retweeted mah face! I’m tickled. I really loved this makeup look and so many to come that are inspired by retro-futurism and vaporwave style. I haven’t felt this inspired in months. As I said before music is my biggest inspo for my makeup. I see it in colors when I listen. It’s always been my inspiration in any art form I do.
