Welcome back, guys! I have a little bonus post today. I did a collab with Faith Wolff Kuhn where we both used the same Maybelline City Mini Palette in Graffiti Pop and came up with looks. This was a fun collab and my first time trying out a Maybelline City Mini Palette.
So, for our look, we picked the Maybelline City Mini Palette in Graffiti Pop because it was one neither one of us had used before and it has such pretty vibrant colors.
We thought it would be great to bring out our creative sides. I have been into color if you hadn’t noticed.
Faith created a beautiful graphic shimmery teal blue eye that makes her eyes POP! The teal in this palette is fantastic by the way.
You can see the details on how Faith created her look here: https://www.faithwolffkuhn.com/beauty/graffitipopcollab Her blog is pretty awesome too!
I opted to try the purples out and a hint of the teal. If you have seen my last few makeup tutorials you will know I am really into cyberpunk looks and the Graffiti Pop palette fits right into that. I was feeling some dark Miami Vice vibes.
I decided to do a halo smoky eye using the blackened purple to sandwich the bright purple shade and the blacked purple all along the lower lash line were it meets up with the electric teal on the inner corner. I also used the matte taupe as my transition shade and the lightest cream as my browbone and inner corner highlight.
I had a blast doing this collab with Faith like I said she has a lovely blog and some pretty cool paintings on there as well. I’m glad she reached out to me to do this with her.
