Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick Review + Swatches

Yeah, I know, this post is up late. Last weekend was crazy and I was worn out come Monday.  Anyway. today I have a review and swatches of the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks. Well, swatches of my collection anyway.

The Formula

I just going to start out by saying the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks are my favorite liquid lipsticks next to the Colourpop Ultra Satin formula. They are comfortable, dry down matte without feeling crunchy or flakey. They don’t make your lips look or feel like the desert either. The formula is enriched with Vitamin E and Avocado Oil too!

Claims: 

• Creamy-matte, full coverage liquid lipstick
• Long-lasting color stays in place
• Weightless, color-rich formula will not bleed or feather.
• Enriched with Vitamin E and Avocado Oil to help hydrate and keep lips comfortable.

They also claim they wear for 6 hours. I haven’t tested that but they do wear a VERY long time.

Do they live up to the claims? I would say yes. Like I said they are my favorites.

The Shades

The shade range is quite nice as well with various finishes.  They aren’t the most exciting or avant-garde shades but they are classics. The shades are very pigmented and not at all patchy or streaky, even the deepest shades go on like a dream.

The Swatches:

Here are swatches of the shades I own. I like to buy the minis because you get a good bang for your buck and I never go through a full-size lippy.

Baci is a nude pink with a cool almost gray undertone.

Patina is a cult favorite shade, a dusty cool toned rose.

This is the only one of the sheer formula that I have in Morello, a sheer raspberry. It’s a muted raspberry so I don’t hate it. I like to wear it as a soft stain. It’s really nice with gloss over top.

Beso is one of my favorite reds of all time, a true vibrant red.

Fiery is a deeper more blue-based red.

Bacca is a cool raspberry. Probably my least favorite of the bunch.  It’s a great shade, just not a color I tend to reach for.

Ricco is my hands down favorite vampy lip of all time, a super deep red with a hint of a cool undertone without going purple.
