Huda Beauty Electric Obsessions Review + Looks

What up! Today I have a review of the Huda Beauty Electric Obsessions Palette.  I picked this little guy up when I purchased the other original 3 she launched, now there are 2 more and even more coming this holiday. Anyway, I am not one to go nuts over a rainbow palette but this one called to me. It screamed vaporwave and cyberpunk looks. It’s a palette I can get creative with and have fun.

Like all the Obsession palettes, it’s a small format with 9 shades. The Electric one comes in a range of neon shades with matte and metallic finishes. Both finishes are fantastic quality and pigmentation. Hands down, amazing quality. Each shade performs great without aid of a wet brush or sticky base unlike most of Huda’s metallic shadows.

Coming in at $27 the value is pretty great too.

The Shades

First shade is what appears to be a teal blue but on the eye, it shows up as a deep royal blue.

Next is a metallic teal blue.

You have a fiery hot pink with warm undertones and a matte finish.

A vibrant matte yellow.

A hot coral peach with a matte finish.

A cool toned metallic blue.

Metallic purple.

Cool toned matte pink.

And lastly, a true matte pink.

Like I said, all the shades perform equally well and very well at that. No patchiness, easy to blend, vibrant and pigmentation for days. The shadows play together beautifully and can blend into one another perfectly, in turn, creating new shades and depths. For example, the matte blue can blend into the pinks and create the most gorgeous matte purple. This palette has sold me on any colorful palette she releases in the future and from the sneak peeks on Trendmood, it looks like there will be a few coming out soon.

I think my looks below will attest to the pigmentation and quality.

The Looks

Here is a great example of the pink and blue creating a purple when blened into one another.

In this next look, I pulled the black from the Smoky Obsessions and a shimmer from the Desert Dusk.

There’s really not much else to say, other than I LOVE these Obsessions  Palettes. They have all performed fantastically and this one was a shining star.  The pigmentation is powerful, yet user-friendly.
