Alright guys, today I have another Wet N Wild product review. This time it’s of the Megaglow Dual-Ended Contour Stick.  I personally like a cream contour but I am used to it being in a pan so this is my first contour stick purchase. I avoided them mostly because they always looked like a pain in the butt to blend out or they were greasy. Luckily, this one from Wet N Wild has a pretty nice formula.

What you get with the Wet N Wild Dual-Ended Contour Stick is a contour side and a highlight side. You get a decent amount product too.

First I want to say, I am not a fan of the highlight side. The color is great but it looks just a little too chalking on my skin. It’s basically an old-school stick concealer. I don’t even bother with the highlight.

However, the contour end is pretty awesome. It’s not chalky at all, blends out fairly easy without feeling sticky or greasy. You do have to put in a bit of effort to blend it but that is par for the course with cream or stick contours.

I have the Light/Medium shade. The highlight is very light even on my pale skin and the contour, while warm it works. I would prefer it to be a bit more taupe but I don’t hate the way this looks on my skin either. It gives a nice warmth to my complexion.

The contour isn’t super pigmented and can go on sheerly. It’s a great beginner contour stick because I find it to be forgiving.

There are only two shades in this product which isn’t the best at all. I could probably get away with using the deeper of the two. It’s more orangey rather than deeper with a banana highlight shade.

The Demo

I wanted to show you how I use the contour stick. I sometimes use it under my foundation, sometimes over top depending on my mood and the look I am going for. Never over powder!

For today’s demo, I am using it over foundation.  What I like to do is apply a strip just above the hollow of my cheek to give a lift and I don’t pull it forward very fair keeping it more toward the back of the cheek.

I sometimes to go along the hairline at my temples and under the jawline.

You can even take some product on a brush to apply and blend.

I also give the nose a little shape. 20180809_114137

To blend, I used my beauty sponge pressing the product upward, never down. You can also use a brush to blend.

Same with the nose, I blend very gently with a small brush. 20180809_114439

Once all the makeup is done, I feel like it blends in really nice and looks natural.

Overall, I think this is a great product for $4.99 even if I am only using the contour end.  I dig it. Like I said, it’s a very forgiving product and would recommend to beginners trying their hand at cream contouring. Is it my favorite cream contour ever? No, but that is based on the shade. I prefer a cooler tone but this product did get me to try a new shade on myself and I don’t hate it.  The Wet N Wild Dual-Ended Contour Stick is definitely worth checking out.

Sorry if this seems a little scattered, I can’t concentrate for shit today. I’ll see ya’ll tomorrow for a MOTD post! Let me know if the comments what your favorite contour products are. I am partial to NYX myself.
