Happy Spooky Month! Today, I have my first fall makeup look of the season. I was really inspired by a pic I saw on Pinterest and I wanted to do a look that screamed fall but had a little something different about it. I feel like metallics and cool tones are trending at the moment but I wanted orange warm goodness too so we ended up here. I also included two lip options because I know a navy blue lip isn’t for everyone.
For today’s look, I used the Kat Von D Saints and Sinners Palette and the Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Palette, however, all the shades used are easily duped out. For info on any brushes I mention, check this post out as a reference.Β The Brush Guide | Eye Brushes
I went ahead and did my brows and primed my lid with concealer.

I dusted Amen, a bone shade close to my skin tone all over the lid with a large fluffy brush.
Moving right along to the transition and crease. This is a very easy look to do by the way.

In the transition, I used the shade Eden to start out. I applied this shade on a large blending brush.
To start bring in the orange tones, I went in with Blazing.

Slowly building up the intensity. For this, I used a tapered blending brush so the orange shade is really blown out and soft around the edges.Β
Now for that really bright orange.

I went in with Devil, a matte vibrant orange, the other eyeshadows weren’t quite bright enough but Devil got it there.
For a little depth right in the crease, I went in with a warm brown.

This brown called Oud from Desert Dusk. I focused it just in the crease and blended into the orange shades.
To start building up the depth and darkness on the outer V, I took a matte black from the KVD palette.

The matte black went on the outer portion of the lid and the outer V, I used a very small blending brush for this. I made sure the black was softened around the outer edges and blended into the brown.
Now for some shine.

On the lid, I took this super shimmery metallic silver all over on a flat brush then blended additional black in the outer portion to keep that depth.
On the very center of the lid, I went in with a brighter silvery tone.

This one called Heaven really brings some light to the eye.
I went in next with a gel liner and softened the wing with the black eyeshadow, then cleaned up any fallout and sharpened the outer edge.
Moving on to the lower lash line, I went back in with that orange shade called Devil from the Saints and Sinners Palette and blended it across with a small blending brush.
Then deepened the outer portion with the brown called Oud from Desert Dusk and the black from Saints and Sinners connecting to the wing.Β As you can see I softened up the blend around the transition area and by the brow. It was a little harsh.
I took an orange eyeliner and lined the waterline. I have already tight-lined using the black gel liner. I used one from Urban Decay, can’t recall the name at the moment.Β I highlighted the inner corner using that Heaven shade as well.
After a few coats of mascara, the eyes are finished. In hindsight, I could have done this whole look with the Saints and Sinners palette but I am extra…
Now for the finished look and the lip options, First up is the more neutral shade.

Dreamy is my perfect go-to shade when I can’t settle on one.

Lip number two is this dull never blue shade from Nyx. It’s Nyx Liquid Suede in Foul Mouth. I love this shade so much, especially with orange eyeshadow.

And that’s it. You can totally use any brand you want for in place of what I used. There are tons of palettes with these exact shades almost floating around.
Also, the title of this post is Gunship’s new song. I am OBSESSED and DECEASED.
I hope you all liked this look, I loved the way it came out. It’s an odd color combination but it works. Coming up next week I have a spooky look loosely inspired by Grav3yardgirl. I love her with my whole heart. I was watching her 5 min goth makeup look and it spurred a makeup idea.Β I just a Halloween manicure too. Now if only it wasn’t 95 degrees outside!
Don’t forget to check out my Fall tag for more looks and inspiration! I’ll see later.

You look so amazing. Your eye look is something else, perfect for the Autumn season and so simple to create for others. I love how in depth your tutorials are. I think I’m preferring the navy lip but would probably stick to the nudish one for myself as I don’t think I’m brave enough to be that bold. I will be trying this out at home, thank you for sharing.
