Covergirl Melting Pout Matte

Covergirl Melted Pout Matte Review + Lip Swatches

Hello and welcome back or if this is your first post from me you are reading then Hi, how ya doin? I hope you enjoy this post and subscribe for more. In today’s post I am review the Covergirl Melting Pout Matte Liquid Lipsticks and swatching a few of the shades I own.

So, the formula of these liquid lipsticks are just lovely. What caught my attention was the shades and their names. They just called to me. The line on a whole is vampy and kind of gothic in nature with shade named like Blood Moon and Paradise Lost.

I love the feel of these on the lips, They are comfortable, not tacky or drying yet have a pigmented matte finish. The only downside to some might be the scent. They smell like a burnt candle or burning leaves. I thought I got a bad one at first because it was so bizarre and kind of jarring but they all have that scent which I actually like but I think others might think it’s a bit odd.

The Claims

  • Intensely pigmented. Gel cream feels flexible, never stiff. Not sticky or tacky
  • Liquid matte lipstick infused with nourishing ingredients and high definition color that feels velvety soft
  • Cushiony soft applicator for gel that glides on smoothly

I think these lipstick live up to everything Covergirl says they do. I only had trouble with the deepest shade being a bit patchy which you will see below and you can see that after couple layers it looks fine.

The Swatches

The Verdict

I personally am a fan of the Covergirl Melted Pout Matte Lipsticks and would recommend you check them out.
